Fabulous views over the River Fowey to Polruan. Lovely hotel. We had a free upgrade to a sea/river view. Fowey is one of our favourite places and is perfect for a two or three day break. Well run hotel in a stunning location, great food, friendly staff. Stunning views from the bar and restaurant. Well worth booking a parking space as well for a small fee.

We stayed here 3 nights to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. Everything about the hotel was perfect. The room with stunning harbour views, the complimentary gin and tonic, the greeting card and chocolates in our room on arrival, the meals, the service, even the lift. All the staff were professional, friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

I did not stay in this hotel, just went for dinner. Restaurant staff provided a nice welcoming and a good, quick table service. The view from the balcony over the bay is spectacular. Food was tasty and served on stylish plates. The room decor was a bit of a mismatch to me various of modern art mixed with some oriental influence. Tables layed nicely. The restroom was clean and the scented liquid soap had a good smell.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay here, the hotel is a beautiful building, full of character and great rooms. Our room was comfortable , well equipped and had a great views. The restaurant has great views as well, the food is excellent and reasonably priced. All the staff were first class. There's plenty of outside seating . We pre-booked a parking space which is advisable as the nearest parking is a few minutes walk away. . Will definitely stay again.
